By default, candidates are sorted from highest to lowest score. You can also sort by applied date. Search and filters are an additional layer on top of candidate scores, helping you disqualify or qualify candidates for a job.

Key information

1. Candidates can be searched by name, most recent job title, or most recent company.
2. Multiple filters can be applied at one time.
3. All candidates matching current filters can be selected at once and rejected or moved to a different stage.
4. When you open a job, the Applicants list hides rejected applicants by default (stage filter Is Not Rejected). You can edit or remove this filter; removing it shows all applicants, including rejected ones. The default filter is applied again the next time you open SquarePeg.

Search for a candidate

Search helps you find candidates by name, most recent job title, or most recent company.

To search for a candidate:

1. Open the All Jobs page.
2. Select the job containing the candidate you want to search for.
3. Click the Search icon above the candidate list.
4. Enter a candidate’s name, most recent job title, or most recent company.

To remove a search:

1. Click the “X” to clear out the search field.
2. Click the Search icon to close the search field.

Sort candidates

1. Open the job.
2. Click the sort menu above the candidate list.
3. Choose Score (high to low), Score (low to high), Applied date (newest), or Applied date (oldest).
